Never appreciated his gameshow host stylings until I started watching Match Game reruns on GSN. Not to mention the skinny mic.

5. What about Art Fleming, the original Jeopardy host? |
|
Edited on Wed May-26-04 01:41 PM by ClassWarrior
(Although Alex Trebek is awesome.)
How about Allen Ludden, Betty White's hub and host of Password?
Of course, Wink Martindale gets an honorable mention in the cheese category...
(edited to correctly spell "Trebek")

Jack Berry, Joker's Wild, my all time favorite game show.
Wasn't he part of the 1950's game show scandal, though?

He was out of the industry for a while after the gams show scandal - "Joker's Wild" was his re-entry into game shows; that and a 13-weeker on ABC around 1970 called "The Generation Gap".

But I have a bias.
Remember High Rollers? Alex was good on that too.
Now go back and spell "Jeopardy" properly 100 times.

Whereas Gene complimented women on their "pretty nipples."
It's all about being a nice guy.
