Am I the only one who gets stage fright |
|
at the quick oil change place? I hate it when you drive in and the guy (or girl)starts barking orders. I can never remember where my turn signals, etc. are. Maybe I'm the only moran who has this problem.

6. You use turning signals in the restroom? |
|
Maybe that explains why people keep flashing their high-beams at me. In the restroom.

they start waving you in like you're a moran. they wave all impatient like then all of a sudden it like 'whoa, lead foot' and they are motioning you to stop like you're going to run over them. one day i just might.

4. I hate driving into automatic car washes |
|
I concentrate really hard to get that left front wheel into the track thingy and then the guy starts waving frantically to the right, so I turn the steering wheel ever so slightly to the right and then he's yelling and waving for me to go left.
Then he barks..."Handbrake off!!! Gears in neutral!!!!!!!"
It's very imitating getting ya car washed these days.

7. Worrying too much about what total strangers think |

who will never see you again, and forget you instantly once you leave, is a waste of energy. My mother, and not a few of my girlfriends, have this problem, and they have similar insecurities about this sort of thing. :hi:

9. actually, I tend to get it as well... |

Well assuming stage fright, and public speaking are similar things. It is funny, in my mind alteast, last time I had to speak in front of a large group was at a wedding reception. I was the best man, and had to give the toast thing. It was funny, I was shaking like a wet poodle. When I held up my glass to toast my friend and his wife, he noticed how much my hand was shaking, and thought it real funny. That isn't the first time it has happened. I think I just get wound up with coming up with something creative and entertaining to say in such an occasion...Kevin.
