PUBLIC NOTICE: DU member refuses to enter inbox

No, not meant to be a racy subject line (I mean, unless you think it's a good one).

Just a timely statement that I am not ignoring anyone who's written to me in the last weeks or months, most of whom I'd rush to respond to if I weren't doing my best to avoid not only my DU inbox but much of my reality these days.

DU's been a great way to help me stay at least passingly sane of late, since I returned after a prolonged absence, and I do treasure relationships formed here. I'm just not very good at communicating now -- I've been a particularly lousy correspondent of late. I don't plan on becoming a particularly great correspondent immediately, unfortunately, but I will eventualy regain my status of Just-Not-Very-Good-Correspondent.

Anyway, that's it -- just don't want any feelings hurt by my current inability to enter the inbox. I will get over it and I will write back. Sorry for the delay.

And, NSMA....I will get on that big nasty freeway and finally come see you! :D



Anyone else whose correspondence skills are similarly lacking, please sign up with dittos if it will help your cause. And feel free to parody the thread title. I think that "PUBIC LICE: DU member refuses to gargle Maalox" is rather catchy, myself.

For clearing up a little confusion anyway for the members of the Gump Fan Club.

Sorry about that thing. I made assumptions I shouldn't have made ("paranoia will destroy ya" is usually what I tell others ironically enough). It's been taken care of (not as fast as I hoped though), and it's gone. Sorry.
