Sorry, it's really the look in his face that tells me he's one of those workout guys that's so filled with self-love he's totally impossible to have any kind of relationship with (and I'm not talking just a love one - I'm talking even a totally anonymous relationship, like "Could you hold the door for me, please?").

I've often wondered about some of the muscle freaks, and wondered if they're gay not so much that they actually prefer gay sex, but they're so obsessed with their own bodies, that they have sex with other muscle-men only because they remind him of himself.

And I have some gay friends who are not muscle-worshippers who have asked the same question. Maybe it's just sour-grapes on their part, but it was an opinion I developed even before I formed a large contingent of gay (male) friends.

Yeah, an awful lot of them.

I'm always offended by certain ones - somehow they just have the look, because not all muscleheads make me react this way - but most of them, when I see them with really beautiful women, I always have the thought "Okay, he are so sexually confused - they have this beautiful woman, but he doesn't respect her at all, but she's totally caught up in the beauty of his muscles because she's a shallow idiot, and he's often off nailing his muscle buddies but won't say that he's gay, and not because he's afraid of being out, but because he really truly doesn't know he's gay, but he has no respect for the woman, they probably have fairly miserable sex because most likely, like everything in his life, whatever happens is always about him, but perhaps she's so obsessed with muscles that she manages to get an orgasm anyway.." and then I realize it's not so much that he's sexually confused, it's just that he only wants to have sex with himself, or, as you said, with a mirror.
