Senior Pranksters Clog Traffic By Driving REALLY Slow - Ticketed

A senior class prank disrupted traffic Wednesday morning and caused students at Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School and nearby Carroll Elementary to be late for classes.

High school students allegedly pulled a senior class prank by driving to school at very slow speeds, according to the Carroll County Sheriff's Department. A dozen students were cited for reckless driving Wednesday.

A group of students met at Flora Park and a second group met at the intersection of Indiana 29 and Indiana 18, police said. The school is about five miles from Indiana 29 and two miles from Flora Park.

The two groups left for the school about 7:40 a.m. Wednesday, traveling east and west toward the school, 2362 E. Indiana 18, at speeds of 7 to 15 miles per hour, police said.

I know because I grew up in the next county. We had a few more humans than hogs, but not many.

I even helped print the Carroll County Comet, believe me, EVERY day was a slow news day.
