My baby just left for South America.

Okay, so she's twenty. She is still my baby.

She is going to Bolivia. She is going to camp on the salt flats, visit Macchu Picchu and all sorts of things.

I hope she has a good time, but I will worry.

She's safer there than in most places in the states.

2. Is she going with friends?

It sounds like a great adventure for her, but I know how you feel. I'd worry, too. Moms are like that.

3. She is going through her university, on a work-study program.

She will be working in a family business, and travelling.

I guess some of the Native South Americans get ripped off for their beautiful crafts. That is the kind of business she is working in.
