How do you occupy your time when you are waiting?
What do you do to make the time pass quicker?

5. fun... maybe, but unlikely
I leave for VA in a couple of days and am totally not prepared, I am likely to spend the weekend doing fun things like laundry :/

and for the Monday Holiday, I have to be at the airport at 6:45am :hangover:

I will do my best, but probably won't be doing anything spank-worthy for 2 whole weeks :P

4. If I'm waiting in the house, I'll Web-surf. If away and waiting, I'll read
Actually, I don't get bored too easily. I can wait for a pretty long time without losing my cool. I'll read, Web-surf, think easy thoughts, look forward to something, walk around a bit, etc.

**Unless** the wait is for a medical procedure, then I get anxious as all get-out!

6. Magical Masturbation
That's what some other magicians I know call it - practicing flourishes, specific sleights, rolling a half dollar over your knuckles, etc.

I also read a lot. In high school, I was in band, which meant I was in jazz band, pep band, concert band, and marching band. I hated football though so I would put a paperback into my shaker before we headed out to the field and then would read it in the stands.

Some of the upper-classmen didn't think much of my "School Spirit."

7. ponder the big questions
like where did I park the car? And when was this bridge last inspected? And what did my son spill now? And why aren't there a line of handsome young men at my door waiting to amuse me?

Thanks, Proles for a thoughtful question. I like your questions, they always make me think. I was at a conference all day, so my brain needed a nudge.

8. I must admit
I was rather intrigued by your subject line. ;-)

This waiting is a case where I have absolutely NO ability to concentrate and now I'm off to my other job.
