I finally finished my project!
I've had to prep over ten BOXES of medical records and evidence for a trial....and was worried I would be spending my holiday at my office...well...between last night and today...I got through the last 4 boxes (by boxes, I mean CRATES filled with about ten reams of paper each)..and I got so much done that I might even be able to take tomorrow off too!

It's a pretty significant case so it HAD to be done right..there's already an eight figure settlement offer (very serious injury including amputation and brain injury)..anyway..it is a HUGE load off my mind to be finished with it.

So...after meeting tonight with a professional association I'm involved with (and speaking at) I'm DONE DONE DONE for four days!
Woohooo!

:toast:

Sorry...this thread wasn't to discuss any of my body functions...but I do have to go use the restroom now...does that count?

:D

5. I get compensated well for my end of it

my buddy is the litigator...he'll do alright..but on cases that size they usually reduce their percentage. I know everyone questions this..but my concerns really are moreso with the victim and his family...a guy earns 40K a year one day and is completely non-functional the next... without going into detail...he was working when an industrial door malfunctioned and came down on his head and trapped him resulting in major brain injury and an amputated arm..along with a whole host of other problems (infections, coma etc)

His medical bills alone right now over the past 4 years are over a million dollars.

3. Well done!!!!!!
That's a lot of wading, but of all the hip waders that I know, you're by far the hippest.

And I'd join you in that toast, but only if it comes with cream cheese and lox -- I'm hungry!

:yourock:

Have a pleasant ablutive experience!
