Anyone ever try "Upper Canada" lager? |
|
I thought I would try it because it was cheap. Naturally that should have tipped me off but I thought, "well it is Canadian after all...."
To its credit it does have a higher alcohol content than some brands, but... it reminds me of the scene in Rob Roy where a character comments about how the poor ragged Scots would get drunk by drinking out of the chamber pot of an English lord who had been at the bottle all night.

Much prefer Sleeman's Cream Ale.
Much prefer practically any Unibroue beer. Canada has some kick-ass beers, but that's not one of the greats, in my opinion.
Right now I am enjoying a Samuel Smith's Organic Ale. Very nice. (British)
