Oh my god! Look at this post from the MAJORITY REPORT blog. |
|
www.majorityreportradio.com
I would like you to know that it will be an honor to cast my vote for the Bush/Chaney ticket in Nov. I am a single mom with two sons in college and one in high school. I have heard the democrats laugh at the amount that some of us got back with your tax breaks ($20.00 a week for me), and how those few extra dollars were really not enough to matter to the average American. I have news for them! An extra $80.00 a month may not matter to "them", but it helped my family out alot. That's extra money to buy heating fuel without going to the goverment or anyone else for help in paying to keep my family warm. It gives me a since of pride that what I earned was enough to take care of my family. Thank you both for truely standing up for the " Little Guy".

1. Let's see how she feels when her three sons get drafted. |
|
Edited on Thu May-27-04 09:19 PM by JaySherman
That will be her reward for her own stupidity. Too stupid to realize under Kerry's tax cut she'd get back much more.

3. We need to make the connection that that $80.00 a month would really |
|
Edited on Thu May-27-04 09:21 PM by patrice
be more like $100.00 and it is Bush policies that, even though they give some money back, make that money worth a whole lot less, because of increase$ and downward pressure on wages and salaries.

5. Its so sad that votes can so transparently be purchased in this country |
|
It is even more sad and telling of the greed and intelligence of the folk in this country when they sell those votes - that freedom, so cheaply.

6. lets do some quick math. |
|
family of four gets twenty bucks a week. OK. 300 million Americans and the war cost 1 1/2 billion bucks a week......amazing....that's exactly five bucks per citizen per week, or twenty bucks a week for a family of four. One hand giveth and the other hand taketh away.

12. "But Kerry Got You That!" "But Kerry is going to give you MORE!" |
|
I beleive that is the approach, and I believe that Kerry is going to give more breaks to middle class.
I also though that it was Kerry and other Dems who worked so hard to get this woman her Break. . .I remember Kerry getting extremely upset in the debates when Dean called for repeal of all of Bush taxcut. . .Both Kerry and Gep got very animated about the tax cuts for the middle class and how hard Dems had worked for them.
Sorry, too tired to give you more than my memories.

16. Meanwhile her two sons tuition went up $500 each per semester |
|
What a crock of shit. That tax cut she may have gotten doesn't begin to pay for the cuts in student financial aid, and the outrageous rate that college tuition is rising across the country.
