Rodney Dangerfield is like a total stoner dude, since 47'.....
Edited on Fri May-28-04 02:48 PM by mopaul
i saw a report on the t.v. machine yesterday in which rodney baby confessed to smoking weed since he was in his early twenties. said it helps him cope with various ailment's now, and he's never had any problems from it, or bad effects. his only complaint was that it is now 500 clams for an ounce of righteous. which is about right according to what my daughter recently paid for medicinal marijuana in san fransisco. roughly 85 bucks an eighth ounce. ouch.

but now we know why rodney don't git no respect....he's stoned all the freekin time, just like tony bennet, who confessed to smoking six or seven big ones a day. woo woo! them old dudes huh? ring a ding ding!

1. Willie Nelson
No less an expert than Kinky Friedman attests to Mr. Nelson's prodigious appetite for cannabis.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

2. heheh
good for Rodney.

I think the hardest I ever laughed was seeing him in concert. The jokes are SO fast, you can't recover from one before the next one hits. I couldn't remember a damned one of 'em afterward, but my sides were literally sore.

3. He tokes up in one movie.
Forget which one but he's in the bathroom sneaking a fast toke.

5. Rodney is the only living celebrity I would like to get high with
It used to be Rodney AND Robert Mitchum, but Big Bob has now gone onto that big tea pad in the sky.

The word has also been that Rodney is a longtime "skier"

6. I got his autograph once
when he came to a studio I worked in to do some recording. He came in a limo wearing his robe and slippers. And it wasn't even pajama day. What a guy. That movie "Back to School" was great, and so was that other movie where his daughter got married and he introduced a line of regular guy clothes. Funny.
