But I couldn't find the domain info for that goofy URL. I want to know who I'm dealing with, though the address is clearly owned by somebody outside the US.

I might set up a unique bank account beforehand, just to be safe... OEM software is no big deal. But I might also wait for the next computer convention. Somebody will have OEM stuff too...

8. Ah. Clean out the cache and temp files and check IE's refresh settings,

tell IE to update the page every time you visit it.

(Also reset security level to "Default" in the security tab for the "Internet" option.)
