8. My Jack..my husband a diabled combat VN vet and anti war !
Edited on Mon May-31-04 09:57 AM by vetwife
He reminds me of Billy Jack..He is against this war, he is part native american, served with 101st ..and special forces in VN and does not trust a war machine. He supports all of my activism on behalf of veterans and even though the trauma of war has left him emotionally paralyzed not physically, but emotionally, he is the most talented musical person I know. That is my Favortie Jack. He is known as Namvet. People sayhe looks like Powers Booth. click on link. My Hubby and Me.

23. Yeah, I probably should have killed Pollock in his favor
but considering how well Kennedy did (didn't do) after I added him in response to suggestions, I don't think it would have made a lot of difference

16. Black Jack
The horse who was the "riderless horse" in the JFK funeral procession. I recall watching him struggle with his handler --- resisting them --- as if to say "no, it's not time".

His parents (my g'parents) called him "Johnny" and me "Jackie." I was also "Jackie" or "Jackson" to my Kentucky-born and -raised Grandpa Bill (mom's dad, 3rdGenDem). My older brother Chuck, in turn, was "Stonewall."
