1. I talked to someone today when I went to the Knowles get together in
Kenai, Alaska. Max Clelland was there and I told a handler about the DU and told them to use it as a resource. They took notes. Hope it works. There is so much talent and opportunity here.

3. I'm registered to vote.
And I work to register other voters. That's political power.

4. Damn straight!
I agree--that is power. A more responsible and transparent power than any of our Vulcan leaders.

I really should get off my butt and volunteer. It's not like I'm employed at present...

8. In 1968, Bobby Kennedy
scribbled a note to friend Allard Lowenstein on a March bus ride: " For Al, who knew the lesson of Emerson and taught it to the rest of us: '...that if a single man plant himself on his convictions and there abide, the huge world will come round to him' " ..... Bobby Kennedy understood "power" in 1968 in the exact manner that we need to understand it today, in order that the November election becomes the first step towards helping America to reach its potential.

5. I wouldn't be surprised
if the agents of the Dark Side check in to see what the enemy is up to.

7. You mean the FBI?
Maybe so.

Like the other poster said, we all have political power if we choose to exercise it.

6. Politicians? No. FBI, et al? Yes.
Edited on Mon May-31-04 06:13 PM by HypnoToad
Politicians listen far more to (usually corporate) money than they do people.

FBI, CIA, ETC... They are the folks who listen to people.

Forgive me my cynicism, but that's what the bulk of politicians do. Sell to the highest bidder.

9. Comedy writers do, for sure
Watch the Daily Show (Jon Stewart) and you'll see what I'm talking about.
