Poll question: What Do You Call Your Mom? |
|
Edited on Tue Jun-01-04 12:59 PM by arwalden
It's mostly "Mother", but sometimes "Mom".
However... At a couple of large family gatherings, I've found it necessary to call her by name, since shouting out "Hey MOM!" makes every female parent in the room turn around to see who's calling them.
-- Allen
edit: added "Mama" (how could I forget? Sorry!)

1. I call her "mom" unless I'm ticked at her - then she is "mother" |

17. I refer to her as "your Mother"... |
|
...to my brother when I'm ticked at her and therefore not speaking to her. Of course, he beomes, "Your son..." if I'm ticked at him and not speaking to him.
I think they all refer to me as "that bitch...".

A good natured takeoff on dooger, which is what I have called a dog since I was very young.
My mom must like it, since she uses moomer in her email address.
