9. Don't laugh. They use this a lot in hospitals.

Particularly for elderly folks who can't move around much, like those who are stuck in bed after a hip fracture/replacement. It gives a bit of protection against skin irritation and breakdown, which is no joke, if you've ever seen (or sometimes smelled) it.
