How about some stupid poetry????

Here was my submission to caption this photo.... (it sunk like a stone but I think it was pretty awesome).



Two pricks standing on the mall.

One, made of alabaster, was very very tall..
One, made of lies and oil, was very very small.
Why were they on the mall, the very big and the very small?
The tall to see the small, fall.

A monument to a great man
A little man who thinks he deserves a monument
but does not.
In the end for the little man
nothing but a number.
You are a liar, Mr. Bush.
Washington both laughs and cries at you.
A peon in the history of leaders.
In the breadth of time you are a nothing.
We scoff at you,
And as you stand there we remember
what real leaders, real americans,
can aspire to.
Your loss will be a victory to the world,
a day of earthly celebration when you are fired
and sent crying home
with your tail curled and your tears
flowing as freely as the Euphrates you desecrated,
the God that you blasphemed.
In the end, for you,
only nothing will exist,
and you will be remembered with no monument,
no statue, no plaques, no frescoes,
only a book,
a book of warning we shall teach our children
and keep our country free.

9. I, well, blush... thanks!

I got so angry while typing, I couldn't stay in a stupid zone, then I channeled some Hebrew style poetic writing and well one thing led to another.... I did strive for bad, though, and I hit some good bad lines methinks. :-)
