Public school bussing supervisor
Last year on the first day of school the bus driver LOST my son for 7 hours. Apparently he had fallen asleep in the back of the bus and was locked on the bus, in the lot after the driver had turned the bus in without inspecting it. Needless to say the drama that ensued was intense.

So, in preperation for this years travel trevails we thought we would "Strike pre-emptively" and follow up with the school, the bus lots, the bussing supervisor etc. My son goes to our local community center for a short time before and after school, he is supposed to be picked up and dropped off at the front door of the community center. This year, they want his bus stop to be three blocks away, next to a needle littered, drug dealing infested public park. Did I mention the prostitutes? Anyway, this is unacceptable to Mrs. Zizzer and I and I just got off of the phone with the bussing super and I want to kill small woodland creatures.

All of this because the address of the Community Center was not entered into their system as a day care. So, they have no obligation to place a stop at the front door because their system says it's a house not a day care. We have been on the phone every day for three weeks trying to get this worked out.

Now, in defense of the Bussing guy, their is a solution, it just happens to start the week AFTER school starts. So for the first week as it stands my son can't go to the community center where we have paid money for him to be there because they will not release him on his own to go to the stop, they will not accept him unless staff there accepts him from the bus. So one of us will have to be there to deposit him on the bus and get him off the bus missing work, losing the money we spent for day care all because they FUCKED UP. One of us will have to be there morning and afternoon to see him onto or off of the bus and so we will be losing hours of pay to deal with this.

I could spit nails at this point!

1. You must be our neighbour!
Our bussing super is the son of a life long village

petty bureaucrat, he himself is a life long petty

bureaucrat as his children are likely to be as well.

Anything at all that makes sense he absolutely

refuses to do, just because HE CAN.

I am sorry for you. I am sorry for me as I

am the grandparent and I run and fetch

grandchildren hither and yon just because

of that pompous ass.
