And they were around during an era of many other great punk bands, like Husker Du, Replacements, Bad Brains, Big Black, Poison Idea, Mission of Burma, Squirrel Bait, and countless others.
The '80s were really a great decade for music -- it's just that most of that music was at the underground level. I get really irritated when people make fun of "80s music" and cite Duran Duran and Cyndi Lauper, or hair metal bands, as proof that music was a wasteland during that decade.
Anyway, yeah, I miss Naked Raygun. They were one of the first bands I heard when I was first getting into punk rock in the late '80s.
