parasailing is not all that |
|
kinda boring actually. But nags head was very pretty at 800 feet up. I just have more of a thrill seeker gene. Back to biplanes for me.

so one day he's all liquored up and he takes someone out and next thing you know, he's dragging the parasailor down the beach.
bump, bump, bump...
luckily, the guy survived so it was okay to laugh.

2. I went parasailing once |

I thought is was pretty cool. I'm not quite at the bungee level of thrillseeker though. Anyway, it was good for me. :)

3. There a couple of para-sail operations in the Tampa area. |

Seems like every year someone dies or has a close call.
I'm a member of the experimental aircraft association and I go to the fly-in in Lakeland every year. The powered parachutes have been gaining in popularity and have been crowding out the ultralight aircraft more and more over time. From what I've seen they are dangerous, especially on take off and landings. I witnessed on crash this year at the show. Anything that involves parachutes is risky IMHO. They were meant for emergencies and I wouldn't Para-sail or fly a powered chute.
