Sorry. I had to put down the obvious pun before someone mistreated it. It's at peace now in pun heaven.

7. yak tofu substitutes ??
is there a yak tofu substitute that can be used in this recipe ...

there used to be a product called Yakfu that was tofu that tasted like real yak ... i honestly couldn't tell the difference ... i bought a ten year supply from Amazon.com but used my last package a few weeks ago ... apparently, Yakfu isn't made anymore ...

does anyone know of an alternative ??

11. tell me about it ...
to quote Woody Allen when he was asked whether he thought 15 years of therapy was a bit much: "Well, i thought I'd give it one more year and then I'm going to Lourdes ..."

9. When grinding Yak for the whole family...
I have found that a reconditioned Asplundh Woodchipper is just the thing to shave what is literally hours off of the task. Just throw a whole Yak(live or dead, same thing, actually...) into the woodchipper(the hair adds fiber) and with a quick FWOOSH! GRIIIIIIIND!!! SPLAT! you have enough ground Yak Meatloaf for the whole hungy brood.

Bake in a Bessemer Converter.
