Interesting tidbit about Hell, MI. It's in Livingston County, located between metro-Detroit and Lansing. Most african americans will not stop or exit their cars in that county. It's known for it's Klan populations, militia survival training camps and cross burnings. There are also more than a few freepers who hail from that area-Dan from Michigan is one of them.

A few years ago, a bunch of young white males beat up an off-duty state cop, after they witnessed the black cop dancing with a white coworker.

Ze'ev Chavets wrote a book in the 80s called "Devil's Night and Other True Stories of Detroit". Most of the book is about Detroit, but there is a chapter about various suburbs, including Melvindale, Grosse Point and Livingston County. The part about Livingston County is freaky. It freaked Chavets out and he lives in Israel.
