2. It's like eating straw, IMO.
I don't mess with it. I'd rather spend a little longer on the treadmill working off a few grams of tasty (and satisfying) fat.

3. My theory is they're for people who want to eat meat, but...
...don't want to work with the "yucky" parts, so they can pretend they're not handling pieces of a dead animal.

5. I don't like to *eat* the skin...
...but if you leave it on during cooking, it imparts a lot more flavor (and yes, a bit more fat) to the meat.

6. I agree - it's better to leave it on
A lot of people actually do eat the skin and that just gives me the willies for some reason. :scared:

11. Ever hear of marinating?
works wonders. I never cared for chicken breast - too dry and tasteless - until I tried marinating it. OH! That's how you do it!

12. It's easier for cooking
I like adding it to side dish recipes or even prepackaged stuff like rice a roni. I also have marinaded it in a variety of things including teryaki, salad dressing, barbeque, and salsa.
