Today would have been my grandma's 96th birthday.......

:hug: I miss her, she died 13 years ago. She was such a sweetie and she loved everyone.... :) She was the classic grandma, loved baking and cooking for us, loved to sneak us treats when we were kids, but most of all, loved us unconditionally. :)

1. I always think of my Grandma

She was born on February 29, 1896. A left-handed red-haired paternal twin.

She was a great cook in her day but I most remember her stories and her reminiscences on literature she had read growing up in the 20's. She was quite a rebel back then.

she died nine years ago at the age of 82.

3. I miss both of my grandmothers

One was a school teacher who saw Teddy Roosevelt speak at one of his campaign stops and the other was a genuine flapper from the 1920's.

One person could not have such contrasting personalities in their life, but I did....
