Goodbye everyone...

This is it. I start law school on Monday. This means no more DU.

I will desperately miss some of you. Some, not so much :-)

I love this site. It's hard to believe a website could mean so much to someone. But I've met some really wonderful people here. And I've met some people that I can't stand-- and that's good too, because you gave me something to be excited about when I wasn't excited about anything.

I hope DU is still around in three years when I'm done. Of course, I'll check in during breaks and whatnot, but it won't be the same.

And I really want to thank Skinner, Earl, and Elad for letting me be a moderator not once, not twice, but three times. It was a great experience. But, then again, it's hard not to like kicking freeper ass. :-)

Love ya guys. I already miss ya. ;(

But as a recent law school grad, I think you'll still find plenty of DU time. Especially compared to after law school when you'll really have things to do. 1L year can be a little rough at times, but 2nd and 3rd years (for me, at least) meant only having class 2 or 3 days a week. Not such a rigorous lifestyle.

10. I'm sorry I have not run

across your posts before now, but I am relatively new as well.

My first job was as Office Manager for the Law Faculty Center at Golden Gate Law School in San Francisco and you would have been one of my favorites, I bet.

I wielded my power in most fun ways; ie ignoring requests from the fraternities, irritating the right-wing profs until they all began calling me "Norma Rae" etc. But, the lefties, how we bonded - both students and profs. One of the profs was Thelton Henderson who now sits on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Those were wonderful days and it was just great watching good students like you work their way through!

Lots of good wishes to you, hope you don't even consider Corporate/Business Law!
