Why don't conservatives support polyandry? |

Edited on Thu Jun-10-04 11:53 PM by Senior citizen
They talk a lot about family values and mothers staying home to care for kids. In this economy it usually takes more than one income to support a family. I've read that polyandry was common in Tibet because conditions were so harsh that it took more than one male to support a wife and kids. Sounds sensible to me.
Edit: typo-- typed an "s" instead of a "t" & didn't preview. sorry.
