What obscure TV show do you really HATE? |
|
There was one that was SOOOOOO bad, I even forgot the name.
Had a cute little girl who was really a robot.

12. This show is too famously godawful to be obscure, I think. |

8. "Royal Payne". A detestable remake of "Fawlty Towers" |
|
Edited on Fri Jun-11-04 05:30 PM by terrya
John Laroquette and Jo-Beth Williams starred in this desperately unfunny, pathetic American remake of one of the best television shows ever made. "Royal Payne" was a sad, sick unfunny joke.

I could not stomach that show at all! Maybe if I were a toddler instead of a child when it was on the air...

...I hated THAT show!
Others on my "obscura despisa" list:
"Babes" (3 morbidly obese sisters living together...Fox, of course.)
"Dirty Sally" ( horrid "Gunsmoke" spin-off from the early seventies)
"Rickety Rocket" (a patently racist sci-fi cartoon on ABC back in the day about a jive-talking, Jimmie Walker-esque owner of a broke-down-assed spaceship)
"Girls Club" (another Fox pox on us all from a few years ago about the women in a powerful law firm and how they f*ck evry guy in sight as well as each other...the latter meaning professionally)

18. A show about a teenaged girl whose dad was an alien and her |
|
mom was human. Dad was off on his own planet or whatever. The girl had some emerging powers, which she didn't really know how to use yet. Theme song was "Would You Like to Swing on a Star." Donna Pescow played her mom. It was so bad that sometimes I couldn't help watching it. I can't remember the name of it--I don't think I even remembered its name when it was on.
