Help wanted with computer question |
|
I've got a website at geocities, and I've been trying to upload photos that are in .jpg format. They aren't large, but the stupid program gives an error message every time I try to upload. I wrote help, and they sent back a form email with zero information. Anyone have any idea how I can get the photos? Thanks!

2. Rename your files so there are no spaces or illegal characters |
|
You're probably uploading to a Unix server, and they sometimes won't tolerate file names with spaces in them. That's probably the most common problem.

4. No spaces, no illegal characters either |
|
I'm at my wit's end on this. I've renamed the files with names I know are legal, but they still won't go.

6. Geocities, tripod, angelfire and most freeserver accts don't work |
|
at DU (or most places, for that matter)
photobucket does and there are others too..
I use smugmug, but it's not free.. the free ones are dicey.. sometimes they "allow" linking for a while, and then stop..
