Poll question: Is Saturn really a "people first" company?
A puny 3 year warranty when you consider the cost of the car is a bit of a joke...

Especially when you hear about the sheer number of defects this car has. Google the words "Saturn", "sucks", "break down".

It's all cheap plastic construction also makes them hand out disclaimers in big writing that say "DO NOT USE CAR IN 'TOUCHLESS' CAR WASH TERMINALS. WATER PRESSURE WILL BREAK THROUGH." (paraphrased, but you've got to wonder when they tell you what NOT to do...!)

1. I've driven Saturns for over 10 years
and I've found them to be some of the most reliable, durable, and dependable cars on the road. Different experience entirely!

I have a nine-year-old Saturn that I love. Overall, a VERY reliable car. And the service is great!

Pretty lame site if your looking for helpful information.

It's complaining about a 1995 Saturn that needed brakes and a timing chain. Well no shit, it's almost 10 years old!

You might check out www.intellichoice.com for actual survey and consumer data, rather than some random geocities page from somebody with an axe to grind.

5. I inherited a Saturn from my mom. Never had a single (non-maint.) repair
until after 115K miles or so. My brother and sister also bought Saturns and all had excellent luck with them. My sister was in an accident in hers, and her car ended up with way less damage than the one that hit her. In fact, I have known several people with Saturns, and every one of them loved their cars.

7. 2004 Saturn L300 here.
Great car so far. I was treated in a much different way at the Saturn dealership and by Saturn than other dealers and auto makers. Of course profit is first but I also believe they have a good amount of consumer best interest at heart. No other auto maker offered me a 30 day, no questions asked return policy. I had narrowed my search down to an Altima or the Saturn. Nissan's serious repairs per 100 cars was much greater than Saturn.
