I just snapped today, lost it...............
:(

at my poor mom no less (though I told her it wasn't her fault)

Gawd, we are just trying to make arrangements for my niece's grad, and what should have taken 5 minutes to plan is turning into phone call after phone call.....long story, but it always seems like making plans with my sister and hubby about ANY family get together always becomes some complicated HASSLE.........my dad can't come out, cause he's just out of surgery, I had to book time off work, no, can you maybe book the tuesday cause we'll be coming home that day, no, we won't be staying for the banquet because we'll be coming home that night, maybe not, etc, and oh! my sister didn't tell us the party was at her house, and since it's my mom driving we may have to stay at a motel? Cause we'll be up all night........why couldn't she TELL us that? (my sister, oh, right, gotcha) Hey, I'm already jumping through hoops, no, it's not YOUR fault, mom, I'm just ranting, why does it ALWAYS have to be so complicated, it really shouldn't be???????

Sorry, I just lost it, and am ranting incoherently...... :silly:
I'm just so SICK of things...............

4. Sounds like a good time for a ...
kitten moment.
Step 1: find kitten (larger cat will suffice, if no kitten available)
Step 2: sit down in comfortable chair with chosen animal
Step 3: lightly pet back and scratch sides of litty face and throat
Step 4: absorb purring sounds and feel into your system
Step 5: speak softly and lovingly to animal, thereby enlisting them in your cause
Step 6: point out that attacking certain people's ankles can be great kitten fun (especially if said animal is 'armed')
Step 7: Sit back and enjoy the screams of pain

7. I wish.....I wish.....
but my Tiel and my bun wouldn't appreciate the antics of kitty. ;) :hi: hearing the screams of pain would be quite therapeutic... LOL

How you doing, Mik?

9. I'm doing OK, so far...
I am spending my day cleaning the house. I have found that torturiong the furchildren by running the vacuum and then the steamer right afterward sets the tome for the afternoon nap quite nicely. I only have the bathrooms left to do, so I have been a busy boy today. Hugs for asking, it's appreciated!:hi:

5. sounds like my family
planning is always more complicated than it needs to be. I dunno how to change it but I've gotten good at taking a deep breath and letting my Mom & sister hammer out the plans while I take a short walk.

Hang in there.

6. I was just getting irritated before......
not at my mom, poor dear, who was making phone call after phone call......I told her I wasn't mad at her and she didn't have to apologize for anything, SHE'S not the one making things complicated........

it's just I reached a mini breaking point, why does everything need to be so troublesome? All we want to do is go see my niece graduate...... we mean no fricking harm. ;)

I'm cool now, so is mom. :) it's amazing how little things just drive you nuts.... :silly:  :nuke:
