My F 9/11 story (SF Bay Area) |
|
I am in my hometown this weekend for a high school reunion and visiting family and of course I saw F 9/11 on Opening Day. I went to see the movie in my hometown of Walnut Creek, CA, an upscale but mostly liberal city in the East Bay Area.
I saw the movie in the middle of the day on Friday and the theater was packed. Mostly high school and college students and a lot of retirees. I knew that the movie would push buttons, and I came prepared for that, but by the end of the movie I really felt a sense of sheer naked fury at this Administration and their bootlickers in this country. This film will motivate the Democratic base better than than those paper pushers and clumsy bureaucrats in the Democratic National Committee ever could. Only twice have I ever been to a movie where people applauded at the end, Star Wars and F 9/11. I will see it again as soon as I get back home to Texas.

1. I didn't learn anything new except that there's alot more of us.. |

than they realize.
The sleeping giant will wake up as more people see this movie.
It's about time people realize they play a part in keeping those kinds of people out of office.
lots of applause where I was too.

2. I'm from your neck of the woods |

I saw it in San Jose in Friday. The major chain theatres are showing it here. In fact, they had to open another screen in the same theatre. Great response from the crowd!
