Strange band names

I'll start with a now-defunct rock band from my native Hartford, Connecticut:

Yoko Ono's Ass

1. Confederate Fagg
from South Carolina. Just broke up. My friend from NC is pretty much obsessed with the singer (from his other band Guyana Punch Line) and saw their last show. I'm also pretty sure at least one of the members is gay so they certainly aren't homophobic (I know for sure Chris the singer isn't from an article he wrote on epinions.com about how Hatebreed harassed him)

4. Bloody Togas!!
hehehe, actually that is my "band" name.
Check out my bush bashing song!http://www.soundclick.com/bands/7/bloodytogasmusic.htm

I got the beat from Pastor ron i think is his name.
The song was made for 2 reasons: one, to bash Bush, two to oust a very offensive song out of the 1st place in the political comedy chart on soundclick.com
let me know what you think!

5. Hogscraper
Edited on Tue Aug-26-03 12:22 AM by dolo amber
Friend's band from Cincinnati, now broken up. Apparently one of the guys' grandfather's owned a hog farm near Lexington KY and while visiting Hank found this thing they used to scrape the fat off the underside of the pig skin so it could be dried. Then again, the first time I met Hank we were really drunk and he told me his last name was "Furter" and I believed him. Now that I think about it, Hank is pretty well full of shit 90% of the time so I dunno if there is such a thing as a hogscraper or not. Still a great name though. :D

edit: they called themselves the world's first "satanic jug band"...washtub bass, banjo, and drums...they rocked!

Now known as The Ghost of The Little Blue Crunchy Things as they are now no longer a band. Fantastic, unclassifiable, genre bending Wisconsin band. Though I've never been too much into their music, I've always like the name 'Butthole Surfers'. Angry Lettuce is a pretty strange name too.

53. Weirdest one I ever heard...
Edited on Tue Aug-26-03 07:36 PM by CanuckAmok
It was written partially as a math equasion.

But spelled out (with the equasion symbols spelled out in the brackets), it was:

Godzilla Meets (over) Rodan (squared) (equals) the (square root of) 124 (divided by) 29 (plus) A

Never actually heard them, mind you, but I wish I had!

edit+forgot some of it--how could I let THAT happen?!
