T-Shirt I saw..."Homosexuals Are Gay."

I don't get it. I mean, I get the meaning. I just don't get why this was on a t-shirt. A subtle dig at homosexuals, perhaps? Or just an asshat wearing a stupid t-shirt he thought was funny?

Dunno. Seemed kind of offensive to me.

My first reaction was that he was a gay man wearing a T-Shirt making fun of homophobes. you know how people are always saying this or that is "so gay" as if it's a bad thing. Stating the obvious but making fun of that habit. I dunno. Shot in the dark here.

I think it fits. There is a satirical comment to be made there--using 'gay' as a general negative epithet is idiotic. I can't remember where 'dude, you kissed a girl! That is so gay!' came from, but it was along similar lines. :)

maybe it is a subtle message for (pro-gay and anti-gay) people who are overly sensitive about the words "homosexual" and "gay."
