Too horrible not to share…
At another site I post on, a group of very conservative but non-freeper persons were told this today…

For those of you looking for news sources (m)
www.FreeRepublic.com
Great sight for conservative news and discussion. There are some real wackjobs over there, but the majority seem to have an even handed feel for the issues.

The horror.

Jobseekers encounter closed doors

Crain's Chicago Business ^ | July 07, 2004 | Reuters
U.S. job openings dip in May, new hires fall 5.1% (Reuters) — Fewer U.S. jobs were open in May than the month before and the number of new hires fell 5.1 percent, the Labor Department said Wednesday. However, for the 13th straight month, new hires exceeded the number of people who quit or lost their jobs. Job openings as of the last day of May stood at 3.104 million, down 1 percent from 3.135 million in April, as manufacturing jobs fell and those in major industries remained unchanged.

How can they put a positive spin on THAT?

The spin they'll put on that? Liberal media bias: They've failed to account for all those additional maids rich people were able to hire with that fat tax cut they've received from Bush.

10. Good point - those maids 'manufacture' clean houses, don't they?

8. "news source" "even handed" - BWAHAHAHAHA
Oh please, make it stop. I am laughing my ass off.

A website with ignorant, hate-filled bigots who constantly claim that WMDs have been found in Iraq, that there is a connection between 9/11 and Saddam, and that the Edwards as VP story is just a ploy and that Kerry will pick Hillary as his VP.

11. They're going nuts
over the Edwards as VP thing. They're wishing they could put Nair into the shampoo of Edwards and Kerry so they would lose their hair, or that they would have to wear skullcaps. And they INSIST that John Edwards was not poor as a child. And they're very upset that both Kerry and Edwards have multiple homes. It doesn't bother them that Kerry's homes belong to his wife, and she inherited them from her Republican senator husband. Or that one of Kerry's neighbors at his home in France is Paul Bremer.

On another note, they believe that free speech should be curtailed now because we're at war, and that reporters shouldn't report bad news about the war, and people who disagree with the war should be shipped off to Gitmo.

Sheesh.

13. In other words...
...the same old same old. Have they started a thread yet on how B* was born a poor sharecropper in Texas, and through guts dedication, and hard work became pResident?

14. No, they haven't
tried to say Bush was born poor, but they take very much offense at anyone who tries to say Edwards grew up in a poor family. They say that is a myth. It's funny how Bush and Kerry grew up under similar circumstances, but Bush is normal Texan guy, and Kerry is some pampered patrician Bostonian. Am I living in a parallel universe?

16. That's just how it is in conservanazi land.
I honestly believe that those who post regularly on free republic, were born without a sense of cognitive dissonance. Or maybe they are just plain stupid.

Look at it from the point of view, that there are two types of conservatives. Those that have nothing, and blame liberals and minorities for it, and those that have everything, and will do anything that they possibly can to keep it that way.

If taking a Dull C student from New Haven CT, from an elite ultra rich and powerful family, and dressing him up as a cowboy, and having him fake an accent so that the ones they are screwing over the worst will vote for him does the trick, then expect them to do just that. And expect the ones receiving the royal screwing to blindly say "thank you sir, may I have another."

12. On one thread over there
I saw they were accusing DU of not being "kid friendly" because of all the terrible language. WTF? I didn't realize DU neeed a PG rating. And how if someone with other than Democratic leanings tries to post something the mods shut them down immediately. BSBSBSBS!! I've seen freeper posts here before; they weren't shut down, they were just ignored.

15. Well actually
They do shut down people who post from a conservative point of view here. And if I'm not mistaken FR does the same thing to us if we try to post liberal stuff over there. As far as kid friendly goes, I started cussing when I was about 9 years old around my friends. That's no big deal. And besides, the youngest I've seen posting on here is 13. That's certainly old enough to be able to handle some cussing.

I've been shut down on the FR back when I stumbled upon the site and stormed on with a vengeance.
