I'm looking for a MAME Rom of the early 90's X-men Arcade game

got me thinking about it but it seems that the ROMS of games you want are really hard to find and I find myself frustrated and searching in circles.

Here is a french website with the game but I don't see or don't know if I can download the rom or where to download it from or what emulator to use

1. mame roms turn up on Shareaza

They are generally illegal (unless you own the console) in the US.

Also, it can be tough to tell on Sharaeaza in advance which ROMS are complete and and Mame compatible.

In other countries, where the copyright legality of p2p file sharing is less clear, the sharing may turn out to be legal. So, like, consult your local law and decide whether p2p sharing is right for you.

Final hint: there are some fairly comprehensive lists, enumerating what games have been made into Mame emulation games. You may want to check if X-Men is on these lists. It sounds like a game that may be too late in time to be MAME'd.

If you can't get X-Men, I would recommend Rally-X or Mappy. Those games are basically impossible to obtain / play outside of a MAME context, but they ROCK.

in a big package of MAME ROMs I downloaded. I'll check when I get home from work.

3. Actually, I think I found it at romnation.com, now I just need to figure

out how to play a downloaded rom or download it right. Will let you know if I do so
