5. Advice from a guy who has conducted hundreds of job interviews...

Try not to be nervous. It sounds as if you have been in the market for a while, so being nervous is almost inevitable. Channel it into a constructive anticipation.

Put your best foot forward, but don't put on a fake personality. It is possible to act appropriately for an interview without becoming someone else.

A firm handshake is always appropriate, even if the interviewer is a woman. A firm, confident handshake makes a good impression. (Note: firm, but not too much so. No one is impressed by a person who tries to wow them with a kung-fu grip.)

Between now and the interview, do some affirmations ("I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggoneit, people like me")

8. Study the Taco Bell website

It is always important to know your potential new company. Really. I worked in fast food for a while. The thing that new hires really need to know from the beginning is their product. Know the names of all of the items and what the difference is between them. A smart manager will know how important that is. It is important that the customer gets the right food the first time.
