He donated his winnings from Who Wants to be a Millionaire to Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall Gang, and everybody knows Newman is a liberal Dem. I doubt he would choose that charity if he were very partisan.

He was a GREAT host on SNL's Weekend Update. I never, ever tired of his prison rape jokes, even though they're un-P.C. as hell and soo predictable.
