Doesn't anyone miss JOEMENTUM?
I sure miss the droning voice
I miss the coffee break debate
I miss the rousing fist pump
I miss the trendy hair
I miss the undying support for the Likudniks
I miss crusades against the record companies

I hope John Edwards can fill Joe's size 3 shoes.

Oh hell......I miss NONE of that.

Please compare and contrast John Edwards and Joe LIeberman.

18. I'm not Joe
Watch it. This how nasty rumors get started. And if you don't like me well you can just go Cheney yourself. :silly:

2. Joe Lieberman
Is just one notch above Zell Miller.

He's a corporate tool, which is probably what you have to be to get elected in his state.

The decision of Gore that most puzzled me.

3. Ummmmm. No.
Like I've stated before - NO ONE who looks like the father on the sitcom "Alf" should run for president. Ever.

Lieberman is an ijit.

5. Joe's whole 1%
I just dislike the guy for his opinions on music and video games, and he would outlaw them all if he could.

6. About as much as I'll miss my headcold when it's finally gone.
Unfortunately, as a Connecticut native and resident, I have to keep dealing with Lieberman. Those of you in the other 49 states are lucky in that regard!

9. I'd rather have Joe than the two dipshits I have now.
I'll trade you a Cornyn and Hutchison for a Lieberman...at least Lieberman is right SOME of the time.

(Well, Kay voted against that idiot judge today, so maybe she's like a broken clock - right twice a day).

12. Joe Liberman was a horrible pick.
He fit right in with pre-2000 Gore, though. Boring, uptight, stuffy, fake-conservative. Bush Lite all the way. I never understood what in the hell Gore was thinking, besides, "I'm screwed trying to get the Southern or Midwest vote, maybe I can get the Jewish vote istead." Or perhaps the thought process was, "Compared to Joe I will seem energetic." If Gore wanted to seem energetic he should have let fly the energy that he is displaying now. Liberman's censor-friendly policies and his weak-kneed performance at the podium turned off far more voters than he reeled in.

14. My guess was that the pick was based on two things
1. He would carry florida, and
2. he was innoculation against what gore perceived as Clinton's issues since Joe voted for censure
