18. In the last 2 years on Atkins...

I've lost 70 pounds, dropped my cholesterol over 100 points, lowered my blood pressure, increased my immune system (I barely got a sniffle all year and I used to get sick frequently), and feel more mentally alert than I have felt in years. I overdid the sugar (sugar junkie in fact) for too many years and this works well for my body. I NEED this. (I don't eat sticks of butter either- just mainly a lot of veggies, quality meats, poultry, fish, and soy based foods.) :D

I thought yoou were talking about this year's fad. Carbs are the best source of energy, which is vital if you want to exercise to lose wight and build muscle, stamina, and that other stuff. But the fad this year is low carb, high fat, and just sitting around. So keep up your good progress!

What the hell are they doing to commercially available chocolate milk these days. The kind you mix up yourself is great, but the stuff you buy in the store is so thick as to be gross. It's like drinking glue. Last time, I vowed "never again". I think I'll keep this one.
