Ung. Spent the last two days compiling research, and then writing, a large piece about the upcoming election. Had the turbo jets on today, busting pages.

Then Lay gets indicted and my boss says "WRITE ABOUT IT NOW!"

Immediate downshift, reverse course, upshift and then full slam into 1,000 words on Lay, Enron and Bush in time for the print deadline tonight.

Now, must downshift again, reverse course, and remember where I was on the last essay.
