and other similar writers. What's the appeal? Why are these women gazillionaires? Their books seem to sell like crazy. Not being judgmental here, just genuinely curious. Can anyone tell me?

I'm not a fan of either of those authors, but I admit to reading and enjoying Nora Roberts on occasion.

I read fluff to go to sleep. I think Coulter's a RWer, though. My favorite is Jane Ann Krentz, who lets her liberalism shine in her books. :)

different parts of the world. you get a picture of many occupations as well as some of the fun cities in the world.
She has a nice way of putting together a story. And yes there is romance but it is more than that. IMHO
