CBS Sunday Morning - anyone remember this? |
|
Years ago, Sunday Morning had an interview segment called "Great Men". Charles Kuralt would interview someone on the set in front of a logo/banner with the distinctive font of the show.
The way the words were placed, "Great" was on the first line, with "Men" underneath and slightly offset to the right. I'll never forget watching Kuralt interview someone sitting in front of those words. They were on stools and positioned (unknowlingly, I'm sure) so that the interviewee's body covered up the letters GR in Great, and Kuralt's body covered up the letter N in Men. All that could be seen in huge letters between the two during the whole interview were the words:
eat Me
Juvenile of me I know, but I always thik of that and wish for a similar faux pas with one of Bush's many backdrop banners.

1. Note to self: Don't look at DU Lounge posts while at work. |

This is hilarious. I was laughing so loud that my co-workers came over to see what I am doing in my office.
Thanks, LizW :yourock:
