You pronounce it, "Nuh-VAY-duh." Much like the towns of "Del-high," Iowa (Delhi), "Mon-pee-lee-uhr," Vermont (Montpelier), "Ligh-muh," Ohio (Lima), and "Vuhr-sayles," Indiana (Versailles).

When I first moved to Denver, I mentioned to someone that I was driving over to Ar-vah-da. He asked, "where?" I said, "Oh, do you pronounce it Ar-vaa-da?" "No, it's Ar-va-da."
