1. The hat I wouldn't be caught dead in
But the dress? If I ever get talked into marriage again, might as well do it with style :D

So yeah, I'd wear it...

to tell anyone how to dress, but I think it's rather horrifyingly tacky myself.

6. Depends.
1) What's the groom/other bride wearing?
2) Is this a traditional ceremony, or a "Rite of Spring" type of affair?

I wouldn't wear something like that. However, I wouldn't tell anyone else not to wear it because I don't like it.

11. no it's awful
A wedding is not a strip tease. I mean, it's your wedding. Like, your mom and dad are going to be there. Do you want them to see you dressed like a call girl playing out some disturbed client's cherry-popping fantasy? Ugh. I vote it the single ugliest wedding dress I have ever seen. I can't imagine wearing this in front of my dad or small children or anyone else who might attend my wedding.

13. Appropriate for what?
Definitely not appropriate for an outdoor wedding on a windy day. The boots? She's not going to make it past the 5th dance at the reception. The hat wouldn't be dreadful if it was half the size. I'd never get married in it, but I'm shaped like Jabba the Hutt and I wouldn't want the wedding guests to go blind. But I could see a high-class ex-call girl getting married in that. It's just slutty enough.

20. Not good for a church wedding...
dangerous on a windy day

would look awful when you sit down

perfect for the ex-call girl wedding

I think many grooms would appreciate the outfit on a wedding night, but I don't think they'd want to share the view with their friends and family.

Edited on Thu Jul-08-04 08:04 PM by Tosca
for women have it out for them, sometimes.

Anyway, no woman in her right mind would skank herself in that on her wedding day.

He** YEAH !

Cept I'd lose the hat and go with Greek sandals w/ ties up the calf & linen gloves instead of leather ... more dainty, IMO.

22. So am I the only one that likes the look?
I think it would look better on a suntanned model, and with colored or white boots instead of the taupe, but I think it's pretty cool, even the hat.

Appropriate for a wedding? A Vegas wedding, sure. A small wedding on a beach somewhere with ust a few friends? okay. A big family wedding at the neighborhood Methodist church? No way.

27. Certainly not for a wedding.
It could be a pretty, elegant dress if it were a complete dress. What the designer did to it makes it look stupid.

30. "Appropriate"??
This was in an Autumn/Winter 2004/2005 haute couture show!!

I have no idea what the weather is like other places in Autumn or Winter, but it tends to get a might breezy here in Autumn, and it gets COLD here in Winter...

I'm thinking it is an interesting look, but probably not terribly practical unless you put your long undies on UNDER it for warmth. That might tend to destroy the look somehow!
