Good Friday Morning DU!
:donut: Well, it's official. For you lucky people that don't have to work on the weekends - you may rejoice. *cough* screw you *cough* (kidding). For those of us that do, it's just another day. ANYWAY! I'm tired and slightly sarcastic this morning, how are YOU?

1. Good morning
I have got a nice little OS exam in about 3 hours. I've been doing my usual cramming during the night before. I hope the day goes well for you and everyone else. Come one in the afternoon, I am getting some sleep :)

7. Thanks, I wish I had
the $$$ to order a few dozen of them as bumper stickers(Being a college student with a internship that pays crap doesn't leave much for luxuries) for some friends I know and for some of you guys who expressed interest here on DU. I am sure I will do fine but thanks for the support.

13. Been very, very busy,
(sigh) almost over though, work today, bridal shower for a coworker tomorrow(that I haven't even shopped for yet), finish computer repair for customer then I can relax! Next week things should go back to normal, no more early, early mornings for me.
So how have you been? Have I missed any really big news here?

We'll miss you on the morning thread, but at least you'll get to sleep in! :) I'm good - thank you for asking. Just busy lately and haven't been getting much sleep. No big news to report. Besides our party kicking ASS lately. :) Oh and Kerry picked Edwards for the next VP of the US. (not that you didn't know that. hehe).

19. LOL, yeah I knew that,
loved that pic on yesterday's front page of USA Today. I'm so happy that it's Edwards. Couldn't stand the thought of Gep.
I'll still be on the morning thread. I haven't been lately because I was working even earlier, but I'll be back on my regular schedule come Monday morning.
Anyway, gotta run, have a good weekend, despite work. See ya Monday! :pals:

5. Good morning
Arh poor thing. Do you get days off in the week to compensate? Don't you start being a full time student soon anyway? I'm rejoicing 1.5 work days to go and them I'm off for 15 :-)

I'm tired though, but not feeling at all sarcastic. Apart from the first 3 word of this post, and then I was only joking :-)

I do have to ring my car insurance company though and they are bound to be sarcastic when I tell them I reversed in to someone elses car yesterday evening. Ooops.

No sir. I work 6 days a week, every week. Only this weekend, I'm being nice and I'm working on Sunday too. Heck yeah, you totally suck! When do you leave?

Um, you backed into someone else's car? How bad is the damage?

15. Next Tuesday morning
We so need this holiday. My wife and I are going to sit down and sort out what we are doing in our life, where we are going to live, work etc. We can not do this at the moment because things are just on top of us too much. We need to be relaxed first.

The car thing, well not a scratch on ours, but the poor lady I reversed in to has a rather large dent in her door. It was all my fault as all I was thinking about was what it would be like when I got home because my wife had another major PND attack that morning before I left for work, and so I wasn't concentrating. I just hope it doesn't cost too much, I can not afford to lose my no claims bonus, or pay out too much for a repair. Hey ho. The worst bit was she was having an even worse time of it than me, having recently lost her husband.

I was going to say I can not beleive you are goung to be working 13 days in a row, but then I thought back about 10 years to when my first proper job meant working for up to 21 days in a row.

17. Yes, you guys definitely need a break.
I'm sure you'll have a blast as well as figuring things out. So good luck with it and take lots of pictures! :)

Sorry to hear about the whole car and attack situation. Hope it isn't too much to fix. Do you know what set your wife off this time? Hopefully she'll really be able to get relaxed while you guys are gone and this won't happen as often. :( Hang in there.

Ah, it's not really a big deal. I've been at this job for 2 years now and I'm always volunteering to work. Nothing that I'm not used to. :)

I don't know if you are still there, but it was the same two things again, Alice being in Nursery and her working, oh with a bit of lack of sleep.

Still at least not everyone gets PND or ther would be no human race!

Have a great day. You're the best.

16. Confused
The dream I was having before the alarm clock went off involved doing dishes. If I'm really lucky tonight I'll get to dream about laundry.

When I could dream about anything why this mundane stuff. Coundn't my mind soar free at night?

25. The American political situation affects me peripherally
although importantly. I can't do anything (vote, donate) to affect it. Dreams of Bush have so far been absent.

The high point of the weekend is likely to be the interview with the dating agency. After 23 years away from this area and 20 yeqars of a relationship now ended I am looking for some way to kick start new friendships here.
The old ones are stupid or moved or dead or along different paths. My best friend from growing up has become a voluntary vegetable.

Sorry, not the cheeriest morning conversation. But the sky is blue, it's a new day and the future beckons.

The glass is always full. Half full of water and half full of air (does not apply in space). Actually, things are better than they have been in years, new job, new life. I'm just figuring out this newness. Mostly fun so far.

We'll probably go to the club on Saturday night. I've been itching to go dancing all week and it'll give me another excuse to wear something so "out-there" (meaning lots of skin showing..lol) so it will shock our city's republicans (i.e., family values coalition..lol)

Since it wouldn't be in my best interest to go out tonight, I've been cooking. I made corn pancakes, crab and corn cakes, crab-stuffed portabellos yesterday. Tonight will be Louisiana crab cakes, crab stuffed poblano peppers. (Do you sense a pattern?)

I found one of my supermarkets has good crab meat very reasonable.
