I was pretty much out cold, but it finally dawned on me, "Oh shit, the phone keeps ringing, it must be an emergency." I run to the phone and all I hear is this weird clicking sound.
The caller ID indicates it's a friend so I call back - keep getting the weird sound until a voice answers. The cell phone was in her purse while she was riding the bus - on the east coast. I guess it kept hitting redial by mistake. AAAUUUUGGGHHHH! The bad news is, I got awakened at 4 am, the good news is, no one is hurt or dead.
And I think my heart will go back to normal in about an hour or so.;) Ain't technology grand?

is when the accidental call actually goes through. I answered such a call and listened to a good five minutes of a friend trying to pick up a girl in a bar.
