I'm no longer married to a cop! |

Tony just finished his last shift of work before starting law school. I'll have 6 weeks with him ALL to myself!

had no idea, you sly-guy! liberal policeman are rare, in my experience. i frequently had to mask my political views in self-defense. difficult; it's pretty obvious i'm a loudmouth. did you experience problems?
hope my anti-cop rants haven't offended you, broad generalizations. not ALL cops are RW neonazi klan-assed robots!

9. cool! but, bummer, 'cause I was going to ask him a cop question |
|
I guess he'd still know . . . Why do some drivers clearly identified (by license plates, window stickers, etc.) as police or associates of police drive like the most arrogant, yes-as-a-matter-of-fact-i-do-own-the-road, "get the cheney out of my way, I don't care if you flip because of how I passed you" ASSHOLES?!
phew! I don't necessarily require an answer, but I sure feel better for getting that out!
So congrats on your six weeks!

13. I've arrested several individuals for DWI that had those stickers |
|
They think it will make a difference in the outcome. WRONG

In my pique, I've assumed (bad girl) that "FOP" or something similar on a car means "free-o-pass." I'm glad to hear that I've been wrong.
I just wish there were more cops or troopers around when I'm left fishtailing at 60 MPH because of the prick that just ripped off both bumpers while cutting around me at 90.

those stickers, @ best, annoy cops. make them look as if they can be "bought".
i'll admit, sheepishly, that the sight of a shield or star when the driver produces his/her license can get them some slack. scofflaws w/ a badge can get themselves in trouble, though.
