My Wife & I Went to See "Fahrenheit 9-11" This Afternoon |
|
Edited on Fri Jul-09-04 07:37 PM by CO Liberal
Today was the first day it was shown in Pueblo, and we went to the second showing. The theater was around half full, which didn't seem bad for a Friday afternoon.
There were several times during the movie that I felt my eyes filling with tears, especailly when Lila Liscomb was reading that final letter from her son. And I had to fight the urge to give the screen the finger every time Bush was shown.
At the end of the film, the theater erupted in applause. And when the applause died down, I yelled out "VOTE FOR KERRY!!!"
:kick:
PS - I wore my "PUEBLO COUNTY DEMOCRAT" T-shirt to the theater, but forgot to wear my "KERRY" button.....

It's a Democratic stronghold. The conservatives are in other parts of Colorado, like Colorado Springs.
