Poll question: Pick your Invisible Woman in the new FANTASTIC FOUR movie
Edited on Fri Jul-09-04 08:18 PM by Paragon
The Thing, Mr. Fantastic, and The Human Torch have already been cast -- for Sue Storm-Richards, Variety says it's down to three candidates:

Jessica Alba (Dark Angel)

Rachel McAdams (The Notebook)

Keri Russell (Felicity)

3. I thought they were making this movie years ago.
It seems that I saw a preview for it about 5 years ago. But our family will go see -- we are a Fantastic Four family. Who will play the Silver Surfer?

5. The Surfer will be a separate property.
Believe it or not, Vin Diesel wants to play him.

9. Which villian are they using?
Hubby wants to see Dr. Doom. I wonder if they will have Sue running off with the Submariner. T

10. I believe it is Dr. Doom, yes.
However, like the Silver Surfer, Marvel has separated the Sub-Mariner off onto his own movie project. Sorry. ;-)

12. Here's the actors that have been cast so far

Michael Chiklis (THE SHIELD) will play The Thing (Probably just his voice. I bet they make the Thing with CGI.)

(IMO, the only perfect casting so far.)

Ioan Gruffudd (Hornblower/Lancelot, and it's pronounced "yo-an griffith") will play Mr. Fantastic.

Chris Evans (teenaged hunk type) is set for Johnny Storm.

19. Great Casting for Thing and Torch
I'm not sure how I feel about Mr. Fantastic, though.

15. Jessica Alba looks more like Chris Evans
look at body type, noses, and lips, and they're both natural brunettes.

And to the above poster. She's the "Invisible GIRL" in this movie as it is an origin story and in the comics she was called "the invisible girl" for the first years(perhaps decades) of the comics run.

Alba has been battle tested in the action adventure sci-fi genre on Dark Angel and she can litterally fill out the uniform better than the uncurvy waifs McAdams and Russell.
