At least 500 people at the Kerry/Edwards organizing meeting tonight!!!

Just got back from the Raleigh organizing meeting. I carpooled over with some friends from Chapel Hill.

OMG The crowd of volunteers to just to run the rally was OVERFLOWING!! We had to have the meeting outside the building because of the fire code. Too many people wanting to get into Democratic Headquarters, if you can believe that.

They did not expect such a huge crowd of people just to run the rally.

Approximately 15k tickets were downloaded off the web for the rally tomorrow. Media has been advertising it like crazy, and I'm thinking even more than that will show up, even without tickets. The NC State quad may not be big enough.

I'm assigned to hand out sunscreen samples to the crowd tomorrow and we're going to need it bad.

It was very exciting and encouraging to see such a great turnout. The campaign was was definitely impressed. :D

Can't wait for tomorrow! :D
